Internal Admissions Competition for the JDP Program

Jan. 21, 2021

The Joint Degree Program in Social Policy is inviting applications for graduate students interested in inequality and social policy.

The JDP is described at length on our website, and the teaching faculty encourages you to take a look if you have an interest in the causes, consequences and remedies for inequality, the core subject matter for this program.  The "discipline plus" model of the JDP program brings together top faculty and PhD students from each of the participating departments to provide a rigorous interdisciplinary training program in the study of inequality and social policy.  Students are also provided the opportunity to present their work to distinguished visitors selected from across the country to match student research interests.

JDP participants are invited to attend a lecture once a week in the fall term involving visitors from around the country in the five fields described above.  A list of previous visitors is available on our website.  If the program interests you, we hope you will complete an application for internal admission by March 1st.
